The Old Vicarage and Amber Barn

The Old Vicarage and Amber Barn is one of Derbyshire's most well-known stately homes and country estates.

The Old Vicarage is an imposing detached stone-built property dating back to the 1860s.

Located near Alfreton, in the small village of South Wingfield, this large stone built period property overlooks the surrounding countryside and the neighbouring church and is set in two and half acres of land including a paddock, woodland and mature gardens.

The building itself has be commissioned by the Chatsworth Estate and is understood to have been built from the same Derbyshire Stone as the world famous Chatsworth House.

The Amber Barn is a stunning two-storey stone built barn that also resides on the property at the end of the sweeping driveway.

If you're looking to film in a stunning stately home that is kitted out in the most stylish of furnishings yet still gives off a warm, homely feel then this is the perfect location for you.
