London City Selection Fam Trip – Game Of Venues

Last weekend was the London City Selection yearly Fam trip and as the (fairly) newbies to the group, joining earlier this year, we jumped at the chance to get involved! Agents travelled from far and wide to the City and the weekend started off with a venue showcase and a networking evening, complete with prosecco and tasty canapes of course!

Representing our lovely Painters’ Hall, we were selected as a team leader for Saturday’s tasks for the “Games of Venues” (no prizes for guessing the theme for the weekend was of course Game Of Thrones). Leading our team, which we aptly named “Let the Games Begin”, we went from venue to venue completing themed tasks along the way. Once the games did in fact begin we discovered a hidden competitive streak and lead our team to win a second-place prize!

The weekend ended with a well-deserved dinner, which we hosted here at our very own Painters’ Hall. After everyone’s hard work, on the Saturday night we invited all venues and agents to join us and prepared a delicious three-course menu accompanied by a glass or two (or three) of our selected wines all served to the sounds of a brilliant live band which played throughout the evening. Despite the long weekend guests were up and dancing with much more than expected proving they not only know how to organise events but know how to enjoy events and continuing way into the night!

All in all, it was a brilliant weekend with big thanks to the London City Selection or all their work in organising. Already looking forward to next year!
