Livery Wine & Dine review – watch this space for 2020 events

On the 5th November 2019, Furniture Makers’ Hall hosted the final Wine and Dine of 2019. Guests enjoyed a wonderful menu created by our chefs, which was accompanied by some of the finest wines from the Mazzei Estate.

Guests feasted on a selection of delicious canapes during the reception accompanied with Villa Marcello Vintage Prosecco Ego 2018 served in Magnums. For starter guests were treated to a shrimp risotto with crispy squid & fennel cress which was served alongside the wonderful 2018 Belguardo Vermentino. For main course guests were treated to a delicious venison ragout pappardelle with shaved parmesan & warm focaccia, acompaining the main course was the rather lovely Ser Lapo Chianti Classico Riserva 2015, which as you can imagine for a crisp November evening went down a treat. Before the dessert guests were treated to another Italian delight of Taleggio & Pecorino cheese and a bottle of 2017 Zisola Nero D'Avola. In true Italian fashion the menu ended with a delicious Vanilla pannacotta, fresh raspberries & raspberry syrup.
