Hanai and Robert’s City Wedding
Emily, our Wedding Coordinator shares her story about her role in the planning of Hanai and Robert’s wedding reception.
I don’t know about the Bride & Groom (although I am sure they feel the same), but for me, Wedding’s seem to come and go so fast, even though they are booked so far in advance. I love the personal contact I have with the couple and their family throughout, and I honestly miss them when it’s over. Hanai even emailed me when they returned from honeymoon to say:
From my millions of calls and emails, you were just so helpful; I must say am going to miss our calls and emails.
The Groom’s father is a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Painter-Stainers’, so of course the family had dined with us before and had only had excellent things to say about Life’s Kitchen, hence the Bride & Groom wanted to treat their guests to their Wedding Breakfast at Painters’ Hall, which certainly didn’t disappoint.
The food, where do I begin, the beef was just perfect, most people said it was the best beef they have ever had.
The Court Room looked beautiful for the intimate Wedding Breakfast of 52, with guests being treated to a menu of Asparagus & Smoked Salmon to start, Slow Cooked Beef Fillet for the Main Course, and a ‘lucky dip’ Dessert of either a Gooseberry Crème Brulee, or a Tropical Fruit Dome.
Hanai and Robert were an absolute joy to work with, and we wish them every happiness in their future together. If their wedding cake is anything to go by, they have lots of fun and games in store!
