Meet the team - Sarah Levy
Sarah Levy, one of our sales team, gives you an overview of her first year with Life’s Kitchen.
“Having joined Life’s Kitchen Ltd in February 2015 I have managed over 100 events so far. Every day is different and I love it. From a formal Livery installation to a corporate conference via a last minute roadshow I am kept on my toes. When my diary is not filled with client meetings, venue show rounds and menu tastings, I am busy in the office reaching out to clients (new and old) discussing their event requirements and selling our venues. The best thing about my job is the variety of our venues we work in, as well as our clients and their event request; I can honestly say no two days or events are the same.
During the last year I have had the pleasure of working on some one-off anniversary events, Conferences, Canape Receptions, Private Lunches and Corporate Dinners at some of the most prestigious Venues in the City of London.
The most memorable events I have worked on since I have been with Life’s Kitchen Ltd, are a 17th Century banquet last December at Painters’ Hall and a two day conference in April. Both events were very different to each other. I inherited the 17th Century Banquet after I first started, it was my job to help guide the client through the event process, as non-event professionals the client was a little unsure of the planning process, so it was my job to make sure all stages were fun and went seamlessly. The Guests arrived in fancy dress to the banquet of Mutton, Braised Oxtail and Guinea fowl that was in keeping with the theme. My other memorable event so far is a two day conference that was also held at Painters’ Hall with a Dinner on the first night at Pewterers’ Hall. This is memorable more for the planning and winning of the event. There is nothing like the buzz you get when you win a new piece of business.
I am really looking forward to developing on my first year, with winning bigger pieces of business and building our portfolio of venues.”
