What an exciting month June is going to be for Life’s Kitchen Ltd………we “go live” at Painters’ Hall, have a packed diary of events across a variety of venues and, of course, will be supporting England in their World Cup bid. Life’s Kitchen Ltd launches Painters’ Hall rebrand as contract “goes live”

As part of the Life’s Kitchen Ltd marketing commitment to Painters’ Hall, we are delighted to announce the launch of their new venue website and branding at www.painters-hall.co.uk

Designed exclusively for Life’s Kitchen Ltd by our talented friends at Naked Creativity, the new look for this venue represents the start of our dedicated marketing strategy that will be delivered by the event team including our new Customer Sales Manager who starts in June.

Life’s Kitchen Ltd is also holding its first showcase event at Painters’ Hall during June; admission will be by invitation only and for more information and to request a place do e-mail info@lifeskitchen.com

The Livery Wine & Dine Club – new dates and prices

Following customer feedback on this initiative we are pleased to announce that the Livery Wine & Dine Club will operate on the following dates in 2010:

The ticket price for these events is £49.95 per person, including VAT. This includes a brief talk on the venue and its history, followed by a delicious meal perfectly matched with wines provided by our friends at Bacchanalia.

There is an opportunity to buy wine directly from Bacchanalia on the night, benefiting from some exclusive discounts.

River Thames Lunch Club at Watermen’s Hall – 2011 dates announced

It is with great pleasure that Life’s Kitchen Ltd announces the dates for the River Thames Lunch Club at Watermen’s Hall in 2011.

This monthly lunch club remains ever-popular and is often fully booked up weeks in advance. Our regular guests do like to plan their dates, so we are delighted to be able to announce these dates so far in advance.

June 2010

Emlyn Sexon, Company Head Chef at Life’s Kitchen Ltd, offers his take on the quintessential taste of Summer…..Enjoy!

Asparagus wrapped in Parma Ham with Hollandaise
Serves two

Ingredients
1 x Bunch Med Asparagus
4 x Slices Parma Ham
2 x Egg Yolk
20 ml white wine Vinegar
1x bunch of asparagus
150g Butter
Half a lemon
Salt and Pepper
10ml Olive oil
100 g Rocket Salad

Method
Trim the woody ends from the Asparagus, and then cook in boiling salted water. When cooked refresh in cold water.

Melt the butter in a pan and leave to one side to allow the salt and butter to separate.

Dived the asparagus in to two portions, wrap each portion with two slices of Parma ham, place on a tray season with pepper, and drizzle with oil.

To make the Hollandaise, In a bowl Whisk the Egg yolks and vinegar and some salt and pepper over a pan of hot boiling water, doing this carefully as to not over cook the eggs, once thickened and doubled in size, remove from heat, now slowly poor in melted butter, just the butter and not the salt (the white part)

Once sauce has thickened season to taste and add a squeeze of lemon juice. Place asparagus in oven for 4 mins at 180’c.

To serve, place asparagus on plate, drizzle over some hollandaise and garnish with the rocket.
