The River Thames Lunch Club at Watermen’s Hall

This monthly lunch club is going from strength to strength and was completely sold out in January, with bookings now in for every month of 2008.

New for 2008 is the option to use the Parlour Room at Watermen’s Hall for a committee or client meeting prior to your lunch; ideal for Livery Committees or small Client Presentations, the Parlour Room is let on a first come first served basis for a small additional charge that includes a provision of tea and coffee for your meeting. Do please book early to avoid disappointment – there is a waiting list almost every month for this function now, and at £26.00 per person including VAT for a three course lunch this really is the best value in London!

Life’s Kitchen Ltd Adopts the Make a Wish Foundation for 2008

Life’s Kitchen Ltd is proud to announce that it has adopted the Make a Wish Foundation www.make-a-wish.org.uk as its official charity for 2008. Throughout the year we will be doing our bit to raise money for this wonderful charity that is dedicated making dreams come true for Children with terminal or serious illness.

Leading the way, Life’s Kitchen Ltd Managing Director Nick Levens is running in the 2008 Flora London Marathon to raise money for Make a Wish. Nick “won” his place in the London Marathon through a silent auction at the Make a Wish Christmas Ball, and is training hard with a combination of running and personal training. Nick has even given up alcohol until the big race on 13th April 2008!

Stationer’s Hall is currently carrying out some major refurbishment work to its Garden area, which will make it much more user friendly for Spring and Summer 2008. The Garden will reopen in April and is a perfect location for your outdoor reception or event; contact Julia Burcham directly on 0207 246 0999 and do mention Life’s Kitchen Ltd when making your enquiry.
