Hello everyone-welcome to Life’s News for October 2008.

The general refrain at the moment seems to be a mixture of “how can it be October already?!” and “Don’t mention the C word” (.........”C” for Christmas that is)

With a packed and diverse schedule of events during the final quarter of 2008, Life’s Kitchen Ltd is fully geared up to deliver its strongest year yet in terms of turnover and number of events. From the recently refurbished Glaziers Hall (see below) to the Splendour of Stationers Hall in the shadow of St. Paul's, Life’s Kitchen Ltd will be regularly delivering outstanding events and catering in over a dozen venues in the City this Winter. Our team of outstanding chefs and passionate event managers have built up excellent relationships with the venues in which we cater, striving to deliver a seamless brand of service to all our clients.

There have been some really exciting developments at Life’s Kitchen Ltd recently-here are some highlights:  

Life's Kitchen Ltd Enters next Stage of Growth

Life’s Kitchen Ltd-provider of “Bespoke Catering Solutions” to Livery Halls and Blue Chip clients in the City and West End-is delighted to announce the completion of a deal that sees leading Venture Capitalists Chrysalis VCT taking an equity stake in the company and funding the next stage of development at Life’s Kitchen Ltd following its phenomenal growth rate since being founded in early 2005.

Over the next few months Life’s Kitchen Ltd will be expanding into larger premises to facilitate this continued growth, and adding to its team of passionate foodies with the appointment of a new senior operations manager.

Commenting on the deal, Roger Hacker (Chairman-Life’s Kitchen Ltd) said “It is a testament to the strength of the business plan and quality of management and product at Life’s Kitchen Ltd that the company has secured substantial investment from a respected institutional investor during such turbulent economic times. River Thames Lunch
Club 2009



The River Thames Lunch Club at Watermen’s Hall will enter its third year in 2009, continuing to offer some of the best value in the City with a three course lunch in the Freeman’s Room. Do remember that you can also book the Parlour Room at Watermen’s Hall on the morning of a River Thames Lunch Club should you require a committee or group meeting prior to your lunch.

The reputation of Life’s Kitchen Ltd as providers of “Bespoke Catering Solutions” for City weddings continues to grow and grow. Our wedding business accounted for a whopping 15% of turnover in 2008 and with several weddings already confirmed for 2009 Life’s Kitchen Ltd is fast becoming the premier City wedding caterer of choice in the various Livery Halls in which we work

Life’s Kitchen Ltd is also being increasingly sought out by Wedding couples seeking assistance in placing their Wedding, and as such we are interested in hearing from new Venues seeking to expand their wedding business.
