Life’s News Summer 2007
Welcome to you all to Life’s News for Summer 2007. We hesitated about calling this issue the “Summer 2007” considering the abysmal weather we are enduring, however with August beckoning we can hope for some high-summer sunshine at least.

Here at Life’s Kitchen Ltd we have had a really busy time, delivering “bespoke catering solutions” to a really diverse range of clients. We would like to take the opportunity to tell you about some of these events and also some plans for the future:

From the Foo Fighters to……..The Sheila’s?!!!!!
Confirming the silly season is in full swing, Life’s Kitchen Ltd was delighted to provide the catering for two very, VERY different musical events recently. At the Proud Galleries in Camden – where Life’s Kitchen Ltd is the exclusive caterer – we were delighted to be present for a showcase by the Foo Fighters who rocked the bar and 200 guests with tracks from their forthcoming album. This venue is one of the hippest on the Camden music circuit and Life’s Kitchen Ltd have created a number of different ranges to suit the unique nature of the client base and the logistical challenges of the venue.

The following week, Life’s Kitchen again catered for a musical showcase for “The Sheila’s”…..yes, those girls from the Insurance commercial have been signed by Pete Waterman and are launching their debut single in September. Pink Champagne, Pimms and delicious canapés were the order of the day as The Sheila’s infectious enthusiasm (and the Moutarde Cuvee Prestige Rose Champagne) brightened up a rainy summer lunchtime enormously. We look forward to seeing The Sheila’s at number one soon……

The River Thames Lunch Club
Meanwhile, back in reality(!), the River Thames Lunch Club continues to grow and grow at Watermen’s Hall. July’s event was a complete sell out and there is now very limited space for the final three lunch club’s of 2007. The good news is that we have released three Christmas Lunch Club dates for 17th-19th December 2007 and that the 2008 dates will be released in September 2007. Do call Watermen’s Hall on 0207 283 2373 to reserve your table……and please mention that you read about the River Thames Lunch Club in Life’s News.

Scott’s Hotel in Mallorca
Regular readers of this newsletter will be aware that we have never endorsed a product or service from another company to date. On a recent weekend break to Mallorca however,
