Women in the City
The fourth annual “Women in the City” lunch is being held at Glaziers Hall on Friday 8th December 2006 and over 200 “women in the City” have already booked their places.

The Company of Watermen & Lightermen at Watermen’s Hall, together with their catering partner Life’s Kitchen Ltd, is proud to announce the launch of the River Thames Lunch Club in 2007.

This monthly lunch club is open to all on a pre-booked basis, and offers you the opportunity to entertain, socialise or just enjoy a fantastic lunch in the only Georgian Hall still operational in the City of London.

For only £24.00 per person you can enjoy a bistro style lunch operation with a choice of each course served to your table by our friendly, professional team. A cash bar and wine list is in operation from 12 noon, with reservations available at 12.15pm, 12.30pm or 12.45pm.

Reservations are taken on a strictly first come, first served basis, payment is via cash, credit card or cheque on the day.

The River Thames Lunch Club is open on the following dates in 2007:

6th Feb, 6th March, 3rd April, 1st May, 5th June, 3rd July, 7th August, 4th Sept, 2nd Oct, 6th Nov, 4th Dec.

Christmas 2006
There are still a very few dates left at a couple of Life’s Kitchen venues for Christmas lunch or dinner in December 2006. Our freephone enquiry line has been exceptionally busy with Christmas enquiries, with many clients taking advantage of the “one stop shop” service that includes free venue finding, entertainment booking and “bespoke catering solutions”. Salters’ Hall
Life’s Kitchen Ltd is delighted to announce its appointment to the list of caterers at Salters’ Hall on Fore Street, London.

Salter’s Hall was designed by Sir Basil Spence and opened on its current site in 1976. It is the sixth residence for the worshipful company of Salters’ and the Hall is on the fifth floor, accessed from a large reception foyer which houses two lifts.

A versatile and commercial hall, Salters’ Hall also has superb acoustics and a private garden available for drinks receptions in the summer months. Life’s Kitchen is delighted to add this latest listing to its growing portfolio of venues, and we look forward to hosting an event for you there soon.
