We are delighted to announce our wine partner for our next Livery Wine and Dine Event at Tallow Chandlers’ Hall on Wednesday 4th October 2017 will be Ellis of Richmond.

Founded in 1822 and still today proudly family run and independent, Ellis of Richmond boast a wine list of global reach encompassing over 900 wines.

PINOT BLANC 'Tradition' J-B Adam 2016
A soft and flattering Pinot Blanc with a gentle aroma of white flowers and generous fruit. This lively wine has fresh apple, white peach and spice flavours. There is good weight on the palate yet it is soft and supple and finishes with a firm acidity.

Rioja Reserva is made only in the best vintages, it is well balanced with a soft seductive character typical of the Tempranillo and Graciano grapes used in the blend. It is aged for at least three years in oak and in bottle before release.

MONBAZILLAC, Seigneurs de Monbazillac 2013
Semillon (85%), Sauvignon Blanc (15%)The wine is made using grapes shrivelled by botrytis, also known as`noble rot` which dehydrates the grapes, concentrating the sugars. The grapes are then picked and sorted by hand. It has a golden yellow colour with aromas of ripe apricots and candied orange.
