Reliving Culinary Delights: A Recap of Our Summer Supper Club Evening
Welcome to our first ever post event roundup! We're excited to take you on a gastronomic journey through the memorable evening we shared at our recent Supper Club Evening hosted by Cyrus Todiwala, OBE, Proprietor of Café Spice and Life’s Kitchen held on 13th July 2023 at Pewterers’ Hall. This intimate gathering brought together food enthusiasts and connoisseurs who indulged in delectable dishes, engaging conversations, and a shared passion for exceptional cuisine.
The Summer Supper Club was an exquisite culinary experience that wowed guests with flavours and flair. Guests were treated to a carefully curated menu of Parsee cuisine, expertly prepared by the talented celebrity television chef.
The heart of the event was, undoubtedly, the exquisite food. From the first course to the dessert, each dish was a masterpiece that celebrated the flavours, textures, and aromas of an array of spices. Guests savoured dishes like Filé de Pescada Assada ou Risoto, Country Captain of Welsh North Country Mule and Vindalho D’ Crioula Côm Massa, each meticulously crafted to delight the palate.
The culinary maestro behind the sumptuous feast was Cyrus Todiwala, renowned for gracing our tv’s on Saturday Kitchen, Market Kitchen and Drop Down Menu. Cyrus shared their inspirations, techniques, and stories behind each dish, giving guests a glimpse into the artistry that went into creating the evening's stunning menu.
As plates were enjoyed and flavours savoured, guests engaged in lively conversations about their love for food, favourite dining experiences, and more. One of our guests commented “I have never eaten a meal like this before, especially the Beetroot Soup which was exceptional."
The evening concluded with a delectable dessert of Zafrani Crème Brûlée paired with Toasted Hazelnut Kulfi, leaving a sweet impression that lingered long after the last bite. Guests departed with satisfied palates and memories of a night filled with exceptional cuisine surrounded by the splendour of Pewterers’ Hall.
